2. Snowy Roads – Snowy Roads is a free app with live updates on the road conditions in NSW, explains the rules and regulations for snow chains and has a video on how to fit them. You can also pre book your chain hire, this app is everything for road safety!
3. Mountain Watch – Mountain Watch is an app for weather reports and forecasts, you can set up snow alerts and read all snow news. You can set your favourite resorts on your homepage so you don’t have to scroll through them, it will have the resorts live snowcams, visibility, conditions, resort info and trial map. A comprehensive app that is everything you need to pick a resort or check up on your fav.
Pandora – Pandora chooses your music for you so you don’t have spend hours creating a playlist, you just add in an artist and it plays all similar music. Perfect for people who don’t always know what to chuck into a playlist. Add in the Spice Girls, the delicious 90’s playlist will make your day.
Ski Tracks - Just press the start button and put your phone in your pocket to record your day including your speed, slope angle and ski vertical. Check your last run maximum speed or duration or even your last ascent then use the Run-by-Run analysis tool and Ski Tracks will break up your day into runs and lifts. Then of course you can share it all online to make your friends jealous.
Clipper – Turn video clips into mini shredding movies. Arrange clips, edit, add music and effects then after you’ve posted your runs on social media post a clip of your day!
Find my Friends – Perfect for meeting up for lunch or keeping track of your group if you have different skill levels. You add your friends by sending a request through their email, once accepted you can see their movements. On the slopes even if you hear your phone you can’t always get your phone out and use it.
Ski School Intermediate – An app to teach you how to ski, they have different skill levels so you can improve whatever your abilities are. They have removed all the ski jargon for the beginners and really thought about improving technique. This is an app to get before your first time down at the slopes rather than being thrown in the deep end.
Vapp - Trigger your iPhone camera with any sound, so handy for when you don’t want to take your gloves off or leave anyone out of the photo. You set the volume level yourself and take the photos with sound. Very handy app!
