Shaped for freedom and flexibility, the VPD Air Vest for kids offers protection balanced with absolute comfort.

Ideal for all-mountain use, this lightweight protector balances protection that meets EN1621-2, Level 1 standards with exceptional freedom of movement in every direction and a very open structure that allows for maximum airflow, allowing body heat to escape easily.

The backplate is constructed in a honeycomb-like structure, taking inspiration from nature to provide strength and protection while keeping weight as low as possible. Its low weight helps to ensure the protector stays in the right place against your back without needing to be held in place by a waistband. As with all VPD protectors, the backplate warms to your body and follows your contours as you move, offering ultimate freedom of movement.

The close-fitting vest offers a clean silhouette and is perforated all over to give optimal breathability and so heat can escape, ensuring you can move freely and in comfort every time you enjoy the mountains.

The VPD protector uses a hexagonal pattern to provide strength, flexibility and ventilation, all while keeping you protected. The protector meets the EN 1621-2, Level 1 certification level. The vest is constructed from a lightweight mesh that provides support and ventilation while giving a secure fit. Both the cut of the vest and the shape of the backplate are optimised for absolute comfort and security, with no impact on freedom of movement. The highly flexible VPD protector is tested for temperatures down to -20°C, keeping you protected in even the coldest conditions.
