Use cool water: Wash in cold water, typically around 30∘C30 raised to the composed with power cap C30∘𝐶, and avoid hot water.
Rinse thoroughly: Ensure the garment is well rinsed.

After washing

Air dry: For most lightweight items, air-drying is best.
Tumble dry (if allowed): If the care label permits, tumble dry on the lowest heat setting. For items with a water-repellent treatment, a medium-heat drying cycle can help reactivate it.
