Good mid-range poles
I bought these for roller skiing, so I was looking for "workhorse" quality. Shafts are 50% carbon, which is plenty stiff enough for that sport. I had to shorten these and change out the baskets, and during that process I discovered these are epoxy glued (rather than hot glued) to the shafts and so I had to heat them more than usual, which caused the cork/polymer grips to soften a bit. But they work fine. Slightly heavier than a higher end pole, but that's good for training and a little safer in a cross-wind. I'd prefer a more substantial pole strap, but can't complain for the price and will likely replace these when I wear them out.
