The Mach1 LV 130 TD2 GW is the flagship of Tecnica's men's piste boot range. Built for advanced to expert skiers with narrow feet, it combines the stiffest flex in the Mach1 line with the most advanced materials and technologies Tecnica offers. If you want maximum precision and power from a low volume piste boot, this is the one.

At 130 flex, this boot is stiff and direct. The T-Drive 2.0 system connects the shell and cuff through a two-piece mechanism that lets the cuff rotate slightly at the front, channelling power to the forefoot with minimal shell deformation. The flex stays smooth and progressive regardless of temperature, so you get the same response on the first run as you do on the last.

The co-injected Grilamid and carbon cuff is the same premium construction found on the women's LV 115 W, and it provides a lightweight, rigid upper for maximum power transfer. A Performance Elastic Power Lock Strap in the Hard variant adds serious forward lean support. The Double Spoiler lets you adjust forward lean by up to 3.5 degrees, giving you fine control over your stance. Four micro-adjustable aluminium buckles with Lift Lock handle closure across the entire boot.

The High Performance Full C.A.S. liner is Tecnica's top-tier men's liner. It uses dual density microcell material that is anatomically shaped, resistant to pack-out, and extensively customisable through thermo-shaping, punching, grinding, and Fit Kit pads. The Floating Tongue lets you adjust the instep area. The PU shell features C.A.S. construction with Quick Instep for easier entry. GripWalk soles (ISO 23223) keep walking comfortable.

Recognised with both an ABB Best of Test and a New Schoolers Best of Fit award for 2025-26, the Mach1 LV 130 is a boot that earns its place at the top of the range.

C.A.S. PU Shell with Quick Instep - The polyurethane shell uses Tecnica's C.A.S. (Custom Adaptive Shape) construction with an anatomical shape and dimpled surface for easier heat customisation. The Quick Instep feature uses softer plastic over the instep area so the shell opens easier for entry and exit.

Co-Injected Grilamid and Carbon Cuff - The cuff is co-injected from Grilamid and carbon fibre, providing a lightweight yet highly rigid upper that excels in power transmission and lateral stability. This is the highest-performance cuff material in the Mach1 women's range, offering a more direct and responsive feel than PP alternatives.

Additional Features
Additional Features

T-Drive System - A dynamic carbon connector between the cuff and shell that improves power transmission and stability. It creates a longer lever arm for quicker edge-to-edge transitions and more precise control. The system also supports a consistent, progressive flex while reducing energy loss and shell deformation.

4 Micro Adjustable Aluminium Buckles with Lift Lock - Four aluminium micro-adjustable buckles provide precise, independent closure across the entire boot. The Lift Lock system holds the buckles up and out of the way when getting in or out of the boot.

Double Spoiler - The Double Spoiler allows modular forward lean adjustment. With the complete spoiler fitted, forward lean increases by 3.5 degrees; removing the first layer reduces this to 2 degrees. The velcro attachment also lets you adjust the height of the spoiler for a personalised stance.

Performance Elastic Power Lock Strap Hard - A performance elastic Power Lock Strap in the Hard variant provides maximum forward lean support and locks the shin firmly against the tongue. The elastic construction maintains consistent tension throughout the ski day, and the patented Power Lock hook allows fine adjustment. The Hard designation indicates the stiffest strap option in the range.

Fit is Everything – Ski boots must match your foot shape, size, and skiing style. A proper fit ensures control, comfort, and confidence on the snow. Boots should feel snug but not painful, and liners will pack out slightly with use.

Size
Size

If your foot measures 26.5cm long, your ski boot size is 26.5.

Ideally, your boot size should be as close as possible to your actual foot measurement.

Last / Width
Last / Width

Ski boots generally come in three volume categories:

  • Low Volume (Narrow) – narrower forefoot, lower instep, tighter heel hold
  • Mid Volume – average width and instep
  • High Volume (Wide) – wider forefoot, higher instep, more overall space

The two key measurements when determining volume are:

  • Forefoot width (in millimetres)
  • Instep height

Custom Footbeds
Custom Footbeds

Invest in Footbeds – Footbeds, either custom-moulded or convenient drop-in, stabilise your foot, support your arches, and improve comfort and control.

Custom Boot Fit
Custom Boot Fit

See a Professional Bootfitter – Buying boots online is not recommended, although we understand not everyone lives near a ski shop. If you can make a special trip to see a bootfitter, they will analyse your foot, assess width, instep, and biomechanics, select the right flex, and make custom adjustments for comfort and performance.

Failing that, always call ahead and speak with a boot fitter about what we have in stock, your skiing style, confidence, and any additional details. Our fitters can only provide advice based on the information you provide; no guarantees are made. Once boots have been skied in, you are unable to return them; however, we will always continue to try and work with you on boot modifications to give you the best fit possible
