The Mach1 LV 105 W TD2 GW is Tecnica's high performance piste boot for women with narrower feet. With a snug 98 mm low volume last, this boot wraps closely around the foot for precise control and excellent sensitivity. If you have always found medium volume boots a bit sloppy, this is where things start to feel right.

The standout feature on this boot is the T-Drive 2.0 system, which connects the shell and cuff through a two-piece mechanism that lets the cuff rotate slightly at the front. The result is a smooth, progressive flex that stays consistent regardless of temperature. At 105 flex, it sits in the stiff end of the women's range and suits intermediate-advanced to advanced skiers who want real feedback from their boots without fighting them all day.

The C.A.S. liner is a step up from the N.F.S. liners found on the Mach BOA and Mach Sport lines. It uses dual density microcell material that is anatomically shaped, resistant to pack-out, and highly customisable. You can thermo-shape it, punch it, grind it, or use Fit Kit pads to dial in the fit. The Floating Tongue lets you adjust the instep area, and Celliant technology helps with warmth. Part of Tecnica's Women 2 Women programme, the liner is shaped specifically for women's foot anatomy.

The PU shell features C.A.S. construction with Quick Instep for easier entry, and the bi-injected PP cuff with backspine provides a solid, supportive upper. Four micro-adjustable aluminium buckles with Lift Lock give you precise control over the entire boot, and a 35 mm velcro power strap adds forward lean support. GripWalk soles (ISO 23223) round things out with comfortable resort walking.

This boot picked up an ABB Best of Test award for 2025-26. For narrow-footed women who want a proper high performance piste boot with serious customisation potential, the Mach1 LV 105 W is hard to beat.

C.A.S. PU Shell with Quick Instep - The polyurethane shell uses Tecnica's C.A.S. (Custom Adaptive Shape) construction with an anatomical shape and dimpled surface for easier heat customisation. The Quick Instep feature uses softer plastic over the instep area so the shell opens easier for entry and exit.

Bi-Injected PP Cuff with Backspine - The polypropylene cuff is bi-injected for a precise blend of support and progressive flex. The integrated backspine adds structural rigidity to the rear of the cuff, improving power transmission and stability when driving through turns.

Additional Features
Additional Features

T-Drive 2.0 - The T-Drive 2.0 is a two-piece mechanism that connects the shell and cuff, allowing the cuff to slightly rotate at the front. This enhances power transmission to the forefoot, reduces shell deformation, and provides a smooth, progressive flex that stays consistent across a wide range of temperatures.

4 Micro Adjustable Aluminium Buckles with Lift Lock - Four aluminium micro-adjustable buckles provide precise, independent closure across the entire boot. The Lift Lock system holds the buckles up and out of the way when getting in or out of the boot.

Velcro Power Strap - A velcro strap across the top of the cuff adds extra forward lean control and locks the shin firmly against the tongue for improved power transmission.

Fit is Everything – Ski boots must match your foot shape, size, and skiing style. A proper fit ensures control, comfort, and confidence on the snow. Boots should feel snug but not painful, and liners will pack out slightly with use.

Size
Size

If your foot measures 26.5cm long, your ski boot size is 26.5.

Ideally, your boot size should be as close as possible to your actual foot measurement.

Last / Width
Last / Width

Ski boots generally come in three volume categories:

  • Low Volume (Narrow) – narrower forefoot, lower instep, tighter heel hold
  • Mid Volume – average width and instep
  • High Volume (Wide) – wider forefoot, higher instep, more overall space

The two key measurements when determining volume are:

  • Forefoot width (in millimetres)
  • Instep height

Custom Footbeds
Custom Footbeds

Invest in Footbeds – Footbeds, either custom-moulded or convenient drop-in, stabilise your foot, support your arches, and improve comfort and control.

Custom Boot Fit
Custom Boot Fit

See a Professional Bootfitter – Buying boots online is not recommended, although we understand not everyone lives near a ski shop. If you can make a special trip to see a bootfitter, they will analyse your foot, assess width, instep, and biomechanics, select the right flex, and make custom adjustments for comfort and performance.

Failing that, always call ahead and speak with a boot fitter about what we have in stock, your skiing style, confidence, and any additional details. Our fitters can only provide advice based on the information you provide; no guarantees are made. Once boots have been skied in, you are unable to return them; however, we will always continue to try and work with you on boot modifications to give you the best fit possible
