If you have wider feet and have always felt like performance ski boots were not made for you, the Mach BOA HV 120 GW might change your mind. With a generous 103 mm high volume last, this boot is purpose-built for broader foot shapes while still packing serious on-piste performance into a 120 flex.

The BOA Fit System takes the place of the two lower buckles, giving you a single dial that wraps your foot evenly with micro-adjustable precision. It is fast, it is consistent, and it means no more fumbling with buckles in the cold. Two micro-adjustable aluminium cuff buckles handle the upper closure, and a 45 mm velcro power strap across the top of the cuff adds extra forward lean control for when you really want to drive your skis.

The shell is built from PU with Tecnica's C.A.S. (Custom Adaptive Shape) construction and a Double Quick Instep for hassle-free entry. The mono-injected PP cuff keeps things progressive and supportive. At 120 flex, this boot sits firmly in the stiff category, making it a strong match for intermediate-advanced to advanced skiers who want responsive edge control on groomers and the confidence to push into variable terrain.

Inside, the N.F.S. liner with Celliant technology provides anatomically shaped padding for all-day comfort, and it is thermoformable for a more personalised fit. GripWalk soles (ISO 23223) round things out with a natural walking feel around the resort.

For wider-footed skiers who want the convenience of BOA and the confidence of a 120 flex platform, this is a boot worth trying on.

C.A.S. PU Shell with Double Quick Instep - The polyurethane shell uses Tecnica's C.A.S. (Custom Adaptive Shape) construction with an anatomical shape and dimpled surface for easier heat customisation. The Double Quick Instep feature uses softer plastic over the instep area so the shell opens wider, making entry and exit much easier.

Mono-Injected PP Cuff - The polypropylene cuff is mono-injected for a consistent and
progressive flex feel. PP offers a slightly softer, more forgiving character
compared to PU, balancing comfort with the responsiveness needed at a 120 flex
rating.

Additional Features
Additional Features

BOA Fit System - The BOA dial closure provides micro-adjustable, uniform pressure across the instep for a precise, customised fit

Velcro Power Strap - A velcro strap across the top of the cuff adds extra forward lean control and locks the shin firmly against the tongue for improved power transmission.

Micro Adjustable Cuff Buckles with Lift Lock - Two aluminium micro-adjustable buckles on the cuff provide fine-tuned upper closure. The Lift Lock system holds the buckles up and out of the way when getting in or out of the boot.

Fit is Everything – Ski boots must match your foot shape, size, and skiing style. A proper fit ensures control, comfort, and confidence on the snow. Boots should feel snug but not painful, and liners will pack out slightly with use.

Size
Size

If your foot measures 26.5cm long, your ski boot size is 26.5.

Ideally, your boot size should be as close as possible to your actual foot measurement.

Last / Width
Last / Width

Ski boots generally come in three volume categories:

  • Low Volume (Narrow) – narrower forefoot, lower instep, tighter heel hold
  • Mid Volume – average width and instep
  • High Volume (Wide) – wider forefoot, higher instep, more overall space

The two key measurements when determining volume are:

  • Forefoot width (in millimetres)
  • Instep height

Custom Footbeds
Custom Footbeds

Invest in Footbeds – Footbeds, either custom-moulded or convenient drop-in, stabilise your foot, support your arches, and improve comfort and control.

See a Professional Bootfitter – Buying boots online is not recommended, although we understand not everyone lives near a ski shop. If you can make a special trip to see a bootfitter, they will analyse your foot, assess width, instep, and biomechanics, select the right flex, and make custom adjustments for comfort and performance.

Failing that, always call ahead and speak with a boot fitter about what we have in stock, your skiing style, confidence, and any additional details. Our fitters can only provide advice based on the information you provide; no guarantees are made. Once boots have been skied in, you are unable to return them; however, we will always continue to try and work with you on boot modifications to give you the best fit possible
