Lens Tech

Perceive is Anon’s contrast-enhancing lens technology, engineered to improve clarity and definition across a wide range of snow conditions. It works by fine-tuning the way light passes through the lens, boosting contrast and making terrain variations easier to see, even in flat or low light.

This technology helps you spot details like ice, bumps, and changes in snow texture with greater accuracy, giving you more confidence and control on every run. With true-to-colour visibility and sharp definition, Perceive lenses are built to perform in all types of mountain weather.

Buying Guide

Intro

The lens is the part of your goggles that does the work, so it’s worth understanding your options. The lens is the part of your goggles that does the real work, so it’s worth understanding your options. They protect your eyes and define how clearly and comfortably you see on the mountain. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the key things to know (like colours, VLT, tech, and fit) so you can feel confident choosing the best setup.

Choosing The Right Lens

Choosing the Right Lens for the Conditions

Start by thinking about when and where you ride the most. Are you usually out on bright, sunny days, stormy low-light sessions, or do you just want a solid “everyday” lens that handles a bit of everything? Each lens colour and tint is designed with different conditions in mind. The amount of light a lens lets through is called VLT (Visible Light Transmission), and it’s what determines how the lens performs.

Because every brand fine-tunes its lenses differently, the same colour can work very differently across brands. That’s why it’s always worth checking the lens chart for the goggles you’re looking at, it’ll tell you exactly which conditions that lens is built for, so you know you’re getting the right match.

Replacing or Matching a Lens

Replacing or Matching a Lens

If you’re buying a replacement lens, always compare it closely with the one you own. Check the outline of the edges, the shape around the nose bridge, and the way it locks in at the sides. These small details determine whether the lens will fit your frame properly. Getting this right saves the hassle of ordering the wrong piece. If you’re unsure, take a photo of your current lens or note down the exact model name, and reach out to us, we’ll help confirm before you buy. And remember, our returns and exchanges are there as a backup, so you can shop with confidence.

Lens Care Tips

Lens Care Tips

To make your lenses last longer and perform at their best, simple habits make a big difference in keeping your lenses performing at their best. Never touch or wipe the inside of the lens (the anti-fog coating there is delicate and can be damaged easily). For the outside, always use the soft microfiber bag that comes with your goggles; it’s designed to clean without scratching. After a day on the mountain, let your goggles dry out naturally in a cool, dry spot before storing them. And when you’re not using them, keep them in their case or pouch to protect them from scratches.
