Built for steeper terrain, deeper snow, and demanding descents. The Ingstad BC is a modern backcountry ski with a generous sidecut designed for speed and agile turns when it matters most. A moderate wax pocket, pronounced Nordic rocker, and tapered tip combine to deliver stability, willingness to turn, and easy handling in deep snow and challenging terrain, while remaining capable across extended flat traverses. The ultra-light paulownia and poplar wood core keeps weight remarkably low at just over 2kg for a pair of 195cm skis. Equipped with Skinlock for instant climbing skin attachment, with a sintered, waxable base for reliable glide. Recommended skins: 58mm X-Skin nylon for wet and steep terrain, or 45mm mohair for cold temperatures and flatter ground.
