BCA Hybrid Skins
BCA’s Hybrid Climbing Skins deliver reliable grip and smooth glide for backcountry touring in a variety of conditions. Their Contour hybrid glueless design makes them easy to trim, stow, and maintain - no regluing needed, just wipe to refresh the adhesive. Complete with adjustable top loop, tail hook, stuff sack, and trim tool, they’re ready to match your skis and your next adventure.
FEATURES:
- 65% mohair / 35% nylon
- Contour hybrid glue-less skin
- Flush metal top loop, adjustable tail hook
- Stuff sack and offset trim tool included
- Adhesive layer refreshes with wipe down
- Adjustable to fit skis within stated size range
- Trim width to ski sidecut for optimal performance
How to Choose Skins Width
When selecting the skin’s width, you must look up your ski’s dimensions. The idea is to pick a skin width that’s a few millimeters less than or any amount more than the widest part of your ski (generally near the tip). If the widest part of your ski is 130mm you could pick a 130mm or wider climbing skin. To save weight and cost, consider a skin width greater than or equal to ski waist width.
