Often made from soft Lycra or fleece, they may include a thumbhole to keep the sleeves in place and provide extra warmth and protection around the wrists. A cuff you can tighten or loosen for a customized fit and to keep snow and cold out. Adjustable Hem Vents are zippered openings in a ski or snowboard jacket that allow airflow to regulate temperature during activity. They help release excess heat and moisture without needing to remove the jacket, keeping you comfortable on the slopes. Removable Hood Adjustable Hood A hood designed to fit comfortably over a helmet, providing full coverage and protection from snow and wind.

Care Instructions	Care Instructions 1. Don't be afraid to wash your outdoor gear, it is at it's most functional when washed regularly! 2. Use a technical wash: Choose a detergent specifically designed for waterproof and breathable outerwear, like Nikwax or Grangers. 2. Check the label: Follow the manufacturer's instructions for water temperature and cycle settings, but generally a warm/cool gentle is cycle is recommended. 3. If water no longer beads on the surface fabric, you'll need to reapply DWR. You can buy this in wash in or spray on variations. Some products will recommend applying heat to activate, either with a hair dryer or low level tumble dryer.
