The regular fit, long length and design in a solid colour give this jacket its style, while the full taping, inside placket, lycra inner cuffs, waist gaiter and PFC-free, 20K water-repellent finish lock out moisture and cold. The 20g breathability also lets excess moisture escape. The fixed hood with high collar warms up chilly heads, while the vent zips at the side allow you to cool off if needed. 2. Use a technical wash: Choose a detergent specifically designed for waterproof and breathable outerwear, like Nikwax or Grangers.

2. Check the label: Follow the manufacturer's instructions for water temperature and cycle settings, but generally a warm/cool gentle is cycle is recommended.

3. If water no longer beads on the surface fabric, you'll need to reapply DWR. You can buy this in wash in or spray on variations. Some products will recommend applying heat to activate, either with a hair dryer or low level tumble dryer.
