The Arbor Formula Snowboard is a timeless directional twin built to make every resort lap feel like a new adventure. With a confidence-boosting Camber System, 3D Fenders for smoother turns, and Grip Tech for reliable edge hold, it's the perfect all-mountain ride for progressing riders and seasoned shredders alike. Accessible, high-value, and built to inspire, this is your ticket to turning ordinary days on the hill into something unforgettable.

FEATURES:

  • Rocker Type: System Camber – If you want a highly responsive ride, crisp on-edge performance, and more pop for carving and ollies - all with smoother camber performance - then System Camber shapes are for you. The camber progressively reduces toward the tip and tail, making the leading edge less aggressive for cleaner on-snow performance.
  • Flex: Flex Rating – 6-7 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
  • Shape: Directional Twin: Grip Tech 2.25mm – A tri-radial sidecut design that is not "blended." Natural shaping intersections, that in the past were eliminated, have been transformed into heel and toe contact points that provide a direct, more ergonomic way to grip the snow when additional control is needed.
  • Core: Highland II Core – A 10 / 20 blend of Poplar and Paulownia for a lighter, more responsive version of the Highland Core
  • Laminates: Mixed Glassing – A triax over biax lay-up that's best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps, and more.
  • Sidewalls: 360° Fully Wrapped Sidewalls – Eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.
  • Base: Sintered Base – A higher molecular weight, sintered base that provides added durability and speed.
  • Edges: Recycled Steel Edges – Highly durable, recycled steel edges embody Arbor's key values: quality and sustainability.
  • Factory Tuned: Arbor detunes the tip and tail contact points on all of their snowboards for a catch-free ride before they leave the factory.
  • Topsheet: Bio-Plastic Topsheet – One of the materials Arbor uses in the quest to eliminate harmful petroleum based plastics from the production cycle. Made from castor bean oil, this eco-topsheet is extremely durable and water repellent.
  • Real Wood Powerply: From the beginning, Arbor's Powerply veneer topsheets have been made with sustainable sourced wood and bamboo material whose organic fiber drives performance through natural power, strength and longevity. The individuality of each slice of veneer provides every board a one-of-a-kind aesthetic that is otherwise impossible to replicate.
  • Bio-Resin: Bio-Resin is a replacement for traditional petroleum based resin that doesn't affect performance or usability. The ingredients that go into it are sourced as co-products or waste products of other industrial processes and are manufactured employing green chemistry techniques that reduce the carbon footprint of the material by up to 40% when compared to its petroleum based equivalent.
  • Wend Natural Wax: All Arbor snowboards hit the shop floor ready to ride with Wend Natural Wax.
  • Binding Compatibility: 2x4 Inserts – 12 Pack

Buying Guide

Intro
Intro

Choosing a new snowboard can feel overwhelming with so many options out there. The key is to focus on what really matters—your riding style, budget, and the board’s camber, flex, shape, and size. Getting the specs right will set you up for a great time on the mountain—but if you just want to pick the one that looks the coolest, we’re not here to stop you!

Board Size
Board Size

Choosing the right snowboard size can be tricky, but it boils down to a few key factors: height, weight, and boot size. Most brands provide a size guide that matches your weight to the right board size, which is a great starting point.

Weight is especially important because your board responds to how much pressure you’re putting on it—not your height. You might find yourself falling between two sizes. If that happens, a shorter board will be easier to maneuver, while a longer board will be more stable at speed and offer better float in powder.

Boot size is another consideration, as you want to avoid toe or heel drag. A common rule of thumb is that if you wear men’s size 12 or larger (or women’s size 9+), you’ll likely need a wide board to accommodate your boots. However, because different brands may size slightly differently, this isn't always the case.
To keep it simple: if you’re using large bindings, you’ll need a wide board.

Camber Profile
Camber Profile

Camber profile is just the fancy name for the shape of your snowboard when you look at it from the side—and it plays a big role in how your board rides. There are a few main types: camber gives you good pop and edge hold, rocker (or reverse camber) is more forgiving and floaty, flat sits somewhere in between, and hybrids mix the best bits of each. The right profile depends on how and where you like to ride, so it’s worth thinking about what kind of feel you’re after on snow.

Flex
Flex

Snowboard flex refers to the stiffness or softness of a snowboard, which significantly impacts its performance and feel on the mountain. A softer flex is ideal for beginners, park riders, and those who enjoy freestyle tricks, as it offers
better maneuverability and forgiveness.

In contrast, a stiffer flex provides enhanced stability and control at high speeds, making it suitable for advanced riders and those tackling aggressive terrain or carving on groomed runs.

When choosing the right flex, consider your riding style, skill level, and preferred terrain to ensure an optimal experience
