Rhythm Snowsports has been operating in Cooma, Australia since 1985. Rhythm was started as a small service station and is now known as the biggest and most progressive snowsports store in the southern hemisphere. Rhythm Snowsports also has stores in both Hakuba and Niseko, Japan.

Rhythm is known to have the best reputation for quality gear and professional staff. We offer premium retail, rental, workshop services and custom boot fits. Rhythm can be very busy during peak periods; you will be asked to work with us to get through these times. YOUR NEW ROLE

Up at Smiggins, we are looking for applicants who have the ability to be an all rounder.
You will need to be able to tech both skis and snowboards, as well as assist in any retail and workshop jobs.


You will need to be passionate about the snow, provide exceptional customer service and have a positive and friendly attitude so that you can stoke our customers with your knowledge as a friendly expert.

Be prepared to communicate with our diverse clientele and multi-task and handle pressure with professionalism.

JOB DUTIES

Acknowledge customers quickly and courteously

Determine guest equipment needs, assist with rental selection and set up

Assist guests with retail goods that they are looking for

Determine customer’s equipment repair and maintenance needs

Advise customers on repairs, tunes and waxes

Service customer’s equipment to a high standard

Complete necessary documentation and paperwork neatly and accurately

Comply with all area and industry procedures and regulations

Comply with all company, store and area policies and procedures

Keep work area organised and clean

Maintain rental fleet in excellent condition

Inform customer on equipment care and use

Co-operate and assist other departments as needed

Perform other related duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

We are looking for someone who will be passionate about their job, with a positive attitude and carries a high level of initiative. Here at Rhythm, we stock the latest and best gear, so any prior and current knowledge will be advantageous. In saying this, training will be provided if needed.

Ideally we are looking for staff with experience in both ski and board rental set-up. Experience in one area of rental set up, ski or board, is a must but you need to be willing to train and work both areas if you don’t have both skill-sets.

The ideal candidate would be someone who can handle working in a busy environment, work as part of a team and is all about ensuring customers receive the best in-store experience. Furthermore be well-organised, hard-working and enthusiastic.
