About the job

Working closely with the office, retail buyers and dispatch team will mean you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and entering stock into our POS system utilising Excel
  • Online & Phone Sales
  • Maintain, update and publish website content, including products and imagery, ensuring accuracy
  • Maintain the products database back-end
  • Reporting on stock, sales
  • Dispatch – Picking / Packing Assistance
  • Search Engine Optimisation
  • Site online promotions
  • Stock control / Stocktaking
  • General warehousing duties

Advantageous skills, experience & attributes

Experience in an e-commerce-focused role within the retail industry is highly regarded

  • Detail Oriented, Highly self-driven with initiative to be hands-on to support the wider team
  • Medium-Advanced Microsoft Excel Skillset
  • Experience with Shopify is advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to generate product descriptions with a high standard
  • Excellent time management to ensure deadlines are met
  • Possess a positive attitude
  • Able to write Social Media content
  • Familiar with Klaviyo is a bonus!

Employment Type

Casual year-round employment up to 38 hours per week during the summer with overtime opportunities from April to September.

Flexible working days and some weekends are required to meet the demands of the business during winter and sale weekends.

Rhythm Snowsports has been operating in Cooma, Australia since 1985. Rhythm was started as a small service station and is now known as the biggest and most progressive snowsports store in the southern hemisphere. Rhythm Snowsports also has stores in both Hakuba and Niseko, Japan.
