Rhythm Snowsports has been operating in Cooma, Australia since 1985. Rhythm was started as a small service station and is now known as the biggest and most progressive snowsports store in the southern hemisphere. Rhythm Snowsports also has stores in both Hakuba and Niseko, Japan.

Rhythm is known to have the best reputation for quality gear and professional staff. We offer premium retail, rental, workshop services for all activities from ski/snowboaring to mountain biking. YOUR NEW ROLE

We currently have an exciting job opportunity in our Goggles and Helmets Department to oversee the area and lead the team in reaching sales targets and goals.

Rhythm has a huge range of goggles and helmets, from brands such as Oakley to Smith, to Dragon, to Giro we are searching for a candidate to oversee and lead this department.

To fill this role, we are looking for someone who has strong leadership skills and has experience in sales.

Duties include:
Motivate and guide the team to drive sales
Reach sales targets and goals
Deliver exceptional customer service
Train staff members
Ensure the department is maintaining visual merchandising standards to maximise sales potential
Lead by example in the level of customer service required to enhance the image of the company
Deal with warranties
Communicate with the brand representatives
Assist in buying
Support the other department managers

Advantageous skills, experience & attributes

Strong knowledge and experience in sales
Leadership skills
Highly self driven with initiative to be hands on to support a wider team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Possess a positive attitude
Attention to detail and exceptional organisation skills
Goggle and helmet knowledge is not neccessary, although basic background knowledge is advantageous

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate who has experience in the sales department and can help us grow our Goggles and Helmets department.

You will have to be well-organised, be customer-orientated and be highly motivated with leadership skills.
