When you're searching for boots to protect your feet from the cold, wet, and snowy weather, you want a pair that will get the job done. And that means you might have to put function over fashion (but sometimes you can get both!). Après Boots need to be both strong and water resistant/proof to stand up against harsh winter weather.
Here are a few things to consider when shopping…
Most of the Apres boots we have are insulated so you can walk around in temperatures down to -20.
There's wool (which offers good temperature regulation) or synthetic materials like Thinsulate, which gives warmth without the weight and is better for wet climates.
We have practical boots that are cut high up the leg ideal for the seasonal mountain worker or for the japan pow, such as Olang, Kimberfeel and XTM.
There are also the boots that can cross over as not only an Apres snow boot but a hiking boot too with extra tread and grip. Check out the North face & DC boots.
Then of course if you want something more stylish for not only wearing in the snow but also around the resort. check out Rojo, XTM, Kimberfeel. Not only can you feel warm and dry but look good doing it.
