Like our ski jackets there are some points to consider to help find the right pair of pants for you.
A premium pair of ski pants from the likes of KJUS, Spyder, Arcteryx, Helly Hansen, Nils and the North face will provide features like stretch fabrics, very high waterproof/breathability ratings the best quality insulation like primaloft.. Adding on some extra bells and whistles like venting, pockets, softer luxurious fabrics and a precise cut/fit. - These pants are all worth a try on as you will soon see why they are indeed a premium ski pant and well worth the price tag.
There are some really great pieces that represents great value for money like Rojo (An Australian Company) that come in the biggest array of colours and sizes. Roxy, Rip Curl, Billabong, Patagonia and O’Neill have been in the game a very long time so you are getting a very good looking piece with all of the necessary features. The fit/cut on a lot of these pants are often more of a relaxed/regular fit as opposed to some of the premium brands that are more of a tailored fit.
A little extra tip for finding the perfect pair of pants… There are many brands that provide different leg lengths, short, regular and long. Majority of our ski pants are regular but we certainly offer some short leg options. Bib pants are the newest must have on the mountain and they often provide a more comfortable fit for those who want a bit more room around the waist as they don't pull in at the hips.
Happy shopping!
Critical or Seam Sealed?
Critically seam sealed products, in addition to being made of waterproof materials, have waterproof seams on the most exposed parts of the product (think legs and back for trousers). Fully seam sealed items have waterproof seams along the entire inseam of the product so they seal water out completely helping you stay dryer for longer
