Cody Ultra Light Sock
Cody and the Le Bent team of foot nerds went to town on the new, elevated aesthetic of the ‘Le Send’ sock to create a design that speaks to the sculpted peaks and shadowed shutes that will inspire the adventurous and creative brains of any backcountry dweller.
1. Silicon Ankle Locks: strategically placed bonded silicone strips across the rear of the ankle, eliminating foot slip and avoiding the infamous anxious sock-bunch.
2. Silicone Cuff: once we started playing with silicone we immediately fell in love with it and went a step further, adding a silicone ring to the top cuff below the knee. Keeping socks standing tall, without claiming hairs, so you can break trail without your socks going flaccid.
3. Toe Box Cushioning: packing more cushion into this high-impact area making for a more comfortable experience with extra warmth over the foot fingers.
4. Shin Compression Area: we combined the thinking of a sports compression sleeve and a sock together in one. By adding slight compression to the shin & calf areas, helping to manage lactic-induced fatigue.
5. Mesh Ventilation: we developed a new mesh ventilation zone to increase breathability across the top of the foot, allowing cushioning to stay where it's needed on the base and toe, while letting moisture and steam release from the top of the foot.
These features and new technology have revolutionised comfort for any backcountry touring mission.

Fit
For a fitted ski boot, a thin wool or bamboo sock is recommended, and that there are minimal seams to avoid cutting circulation. It is important to understand that cold feet are not caused by thin socks, in fact if you have good blood circulation and a thin ski sock you should have warm feet all day. Ski sock sizing is relative to shoe sizing so be sure to follow the sizing guide given buy the sock brand to get the right fit.
Fabric
Merino wool and Bamboo are natural fibers and wick moisture very effectively. They also have a natural resilience to foot smell.
Synthetic socks are made from materials like nylon, acrylic, and polyester. These materials specialize in thermal control and comfort. Synthetic socks are also successful at wicking moisture. Wool and synthetic blend, this blend achieves the best aspects of synthetic and wool socks. In reality, most socks are a blend to some extent.
Can i just double up my socks?
Although it is tempting to think if putting on an additional pair of socks will keep you warmer, this may not be true as more pressure inside your boot will increase the likelihood of your circulation being cut off – leaving you with colder feet and toes!
We recommend looking for a specifically designed ski sock that is thin, woolen or bamboo blend, seamless, with spandex or elastane for stretch and added comfort. If you're in the market for a technical sock, check that it has ergonomic compression bands or at a minimum instep support with mesh ventilation.
If you are heading to the mountain for a bit of snow-play and just want your feet to be as warm as possible in your apres boots we recommend a thick wool sock.

Add your items to the cart and we will calculate at the checkout fast delivery to your location based on the weight and destination of your items if fast delivery is available.
What Courier will your package be sent via?
Australia Post: Most parcels are sent via Aus Post and have tracking numbers for each parcel
TNT: Items over 100cm including Skis, Snowboards & Poles are sent via TNT/FedEx and are tracked. These items cannot be sent to a PO BOX and are recommended to a business address for the fastest turnaround of parcel collection as a person should be home to collect.

At Rhythm Snowsports we want you to be stoked with your goods! That's why if you change your mind or choose the wrong size we will offer you a Refund, Exchange or Store Credit providing the following conditions are met
Refund; The item is returned within 14 days of receiving the item.
Exchange or Credit Note: The item is returned within 365 days of purchase
