2022 Annex Ski
The Endeavor Annex was designed with one intention in mind - to be the most versatile, playful and manoeuvrable 112mm free ride ski we could make without loosing any power or stability at speed. This was to be a ski that could handle all snow conditions, no matter how variable, both in and out of the resort boundaries.
In my opinion, we hit the nail on the head. So far this season I have ridden nothing but the Annex; and haven’t had this much fun on a ski in years! Like most of my skis I mounted the Annex with a SHIFT binding giving me the ability to transition between the resort and back country (BC) with ease.
Coming in at 3.85kg for the pair at 185cm. I find it is light enough to do long days touring without concern of excessive leg fatigue; but heavy and powerful enough that it holds an edge so the ski doesn’t deflect, buck or skip out in chopped pow or scoured sections of the decent.
In the resort, the Annex’s stiffer torsional flex allows you to easily drive and roll the ski edge to edge intuitively on the groomed trails. It’s slightly stiffer tail means that edge hold and stability continues even at higher speeds.
Regardless of whether you are in the resort or in the BC the Annex feels amazing in the air as well. Its balance and swing weight inspires confidence to take on those bigger kickers and cliffs.
The Annex uses a poplar and paulownia wood layered core, in combination with a titanal beam, carbon stringers and another full layer of carbon. Encased with PHONON pre-tension fibreglass as well as the Enveador SMOOTHRIDEurethane sidewall and a lightning fast sintered PTEX 2000 base, the Annex is packed with tech. This gives a light weight, smooth poppy feel under foot in all terrain at a very reasonable RRP of $899 Aus.
The shape of the ski, 142/112/123 with a 17m radius, flat to rocker profile combined with the balance point of the ski sitting so close to measured centre. It’s soft lateral flex gives the Annex a surfy feel in the deeper snow, providing amazing manoeuvrability in the tightest of tree lines, chutes and gullies. However, there is plenty of torsional rigidity and strength for those high speed hard packed groomer laps. For a ski that is 112mm under foot you can always manage to find an edge in even the most solid of conditions.
A long story short, we have tried to make a super versatile, playful ski that most advanced free ride skiers would enjoy endeavouring on everywhere doing everything.
I can’t thank Klumper and the crew at Endeavor Snowboards enough for the opportunity to be involved in the development and testing of the Annex. It was a truly awesome experience with good crew doing fun things.

See you out there. Bob
“The Annex 112 is by far the best all mountain ripper I’ve skied. Super playful in soft snow, yet it holds its own on the groomers. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a versatile over 100mm under foot weapon.”

“F*%#@ killer ski !! With 112 under foot handled groomers like 95 underfoot . Good on the ice and a pleasure to ski in the pow . Engages quickly under foot and with the Narrow tail flicks so good in tight terrain . Great ski designed by a passionate skier who’s thought a lot about making a one ski do it all ! Well done bob !!!”
