General Description: Volkl’s RTM 81 is one of the more versatile and playful of the RTM line. With a slightly reduced radius, slightly softer flex profile and mid-range waist width this ski finds more popularity with less aggressive advanced skiers. The 3D Ridge Core and Sidewall concentrates weight into the middle of the skis, reducing rotational forces while still retaining high performance characteristics.
Steel helps to dampen the feel of the ski, enhancing its performance on hard snow and crud. The XTD Tip and Tail rocker is specifically designed to complement the sidecut. With a long and shallow profile, the ski is effectively pre-bent into the correct radius, making turn initiation easier while also providing excellent edge grip.
